Ireland – Age limits 23 to 75 and holding a valid driver’s license. A surcharge applies to drivers between the ages of 23-25. The surcharge is approximately 26 euro per day, payable to the car rental company in Ireland, plus a deductible (of €1600) is held on your credit card for the duration of the rental (regardless of insurance coverage). Only groups A, B and E are available to drivers under 25 in Ireland.  All drivers must have a valid credit card. UK: Drivers minimum age is 25 years and cannot rent premium vehicles.
