However, these are just guidelines and temperatures and conditions can and do change. One should always prepare for rain in Ireland. Rain fall varies through the year and also throughout the country, with the Southeast region being the driest. Nevertheless, the weather varies considerably according to how far one is from the sea or the mountains.
