Additional Notes

Please Note Baggage Restriction: Starting April 2026, all our scheduled tours now permit one checked bag up to 20kg (44lbs), with maximum dimensions of 22in x 17in x 10in, as well as one small carry-on item. Checked luggage will be stored in the luggage compartment and will not be accessible during the journey. Carry-on bags should be compact and suitable for onboard storage. We kindly ask all passengers to adhere to these guidelines to ensure comfort and space for everyone.

Day 1 | Edinburgh

Arrive Edinburgh and transfer (included) to your pre-booked accommodations (note: check-in time is generally from 2 pm). Spend your day independently exploring Edinburgh on your own. Overnight in Edinburgh. 

Day 2 | Isle of Skye

Departure point at Edinburgh Bus Station Pick Up, Gate J and Gate K, inside Edinburgh Bus Station, St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, EH1 3DQ. Guests are requested to check in at least 15 minutes before departure. Depart Edinburgh at 8:00 am.

After breakfast in your hotel and meeting up with the group, you depart Edinburgh and travel northwest. Visit Loch Lubnaig, a popular destination for outdoor water activities and a breathtaking landscape. Take in the beauty while taking a quick stroll along its shores. There is time for a quick coffee break there before heading on to Glencoe. See the Scottish Highlands in their glory, with landmarks like The Great Moor of Rannoch, and the Three Sisters, peaks steeped in myth and legend.

After a stop for lunch, visit Eilean Donan Castle, perched on a tidal island and often shrouded in mist. It's the most photographed castle in Scotland! Afterwards, cross the Skye Bridge and arrive on the Isle of Skye.

Enjoy a bespoke dinner in Hame, set against the stunning Roag Peninsula, before resting at the Hame Hotel for the evening. Maybe enjoy some whisky too! (B, D)

Day 3 | Exploring Skye

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful Isle of Skye. Maybe see the Faerie Glen, where emerald mounds create an otherworldly, enchanted landscape, or give yourself a stunning view at the Quiraing, and imagine the whole of the isle at your fingertips. The morning is flexible in its exploration, see where the breeze takes you on this magnificent island.

After taking in the local landscapes and wildlife, head to Portree, and enjoy free time for lunch. Maybe sit in one of the colorful harbor-side pubs, and enjoy the salty sea air while tasting fresh seafood. Follow your tastebuds.

Afterwards, visit Talisker Distillery for an informative tour and delicious whisky tasting. You won't be disappointed in what you find here. In the evening, enjoy another incredible meal, sampling Skye's quality tastes. Enjoy the evening fireside or walk in the countryside, or rest comfortably in your hotel room in Hame. (B, D) 

Day 4 | End in Edinburgh

After breakfast, prepare to return to Edinburgh, the scenic way. In the morning, see the incredible Skye Bridge again as you cross over, and visit Rogie Falls. You have the option of walking along the Black Water River, meandering through woodland trails, and crossing the suspension bridge, if you're not afraid of heights. Just make sure you have your walking shoes packed.

For lunch, stop in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Explore the city and find fabulous food, there's something for everyone here. Ask your driver-guide for recommendations!

Enjoy another stop in charming Perthshire town of Pitlochry, a photo-worthy stop where you can find refreshments. Get yourself one last snack for your journey back to Edinburgh. The road from Pitlochry is filled with castle ruins, rolling pastures and sheep-dotted fields in the Kingdom of Fife. Cross the Firth of Forth, see Scotland's three iconic bridges, and reminisce about the journey.

Arrival at approximately 7:00 pm in Edinburgh, where you will make your own way back to your pre-booked hotel. (B)

Day 5 | Edinburgh - Home

After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to the Airport for your return flight to the US. (B)

Your tour land price is per person based on two (2) people sharing a twin or double room. When a single room is booked, a single supplement will apply. There are no triple rooms for this tour.

Airfare can be booked in conjunction with this tour. Airfare is instant purchase and non-refundable. Date note is the date the tour starts in Edinburgh. Please book your air one day before to accommodate overnight flights.
