Day 1 | Arrive in Vilinus

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. There's time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director over a Welcome drink. (WD)

Day 2 | Vilnius

Vilnius is located on the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers. In Old Vilnius, visit baroque St. Peter and St. Paul's Church and striking St. Anne's Church. View Vilnius University, dating back to 1570, famous Gediminas' Tower and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free to continue exploring this lovely city. (B) Optional excursion: Visit the town of Trakai, beautifully set on three lakes.

Day 3 | Vilnius - Riga

Depart this morning for Riga, the capital of Latvia. After arriving, the rest of the day is at leisure to begin exploring the city with its interesting architecture, do some shopping, or go for a walk through the city. Overnight in your hotel. (B)

Day 4 | Riga

See Riga Castle on the banks of the Daugava River, the magnificent Dome Cathedral, St. Jacobs Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Parliament building, Liberty Monument, and the district of Art Nouveau houses on a morning sightseeing tour. The rest of the day is free to explore more, shop, or maybe sample Latvian crepes. (B)

Day 5 | Riga - Tallinn

Today's journey will take us to Tallinn, Estonia's capital, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. Relax in your hotel in the evening and prepare for the next day. (B)

Day 6 | Tallinn

On a walking tour of Tallinn's Upper and Lower Old Town, view the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Next, see Toompea Castle and see the 14th-century gothic Town Hall. Afternoon is free to spend how you please. This evening, enjoy a Farewell dinner with your Tour Director and other traveling companions. (B,D)

Day 7 | depart from Tallinn

Check out from your hotel. Departure transfer to Tallinn airport. (B)

Note: Because of the narrow and cobbled streets, walking is the primary way of getting around. Please make sure you pack comfortable walking shoes, as there are daily walking tours included.

Airfare

Airfare can be booked at time of reservation. Airfare is instant purchase and non-refundable. Should you book airfare on your own, please be sure and book the right date. Date of tour is the start date in Vilnius. Most flights are overnight flights, please book accordingly.

Departures & Transfers

Tour dates are the date you would arrive in Vilnius. Please plan your air accordingly, as most flights overseas are overnight flights and you would depart the US one day earlier. The transfer will be waiting on arrival in Vilnius. Return transfer will be from your Vilnius hotel.
