The Great Escape Tour Includes
- Six (6) nights pre-booked accommodations; one (1) night BB Lahinch area, one (1) night BB Co. Galway, two (2) nights Lough Rynn Castle (on request), and two (2) nights in Dublin city.
- Breakfast daily, except the morning you arrive.
- Accommodation taxes.
- Five (5) day car rental based on Manual Shift Economy Car; includes collision damage, waiver insurance (CDW with a deductible), theft protection insurance (TP), VAT sales tax, unlimited mileage, third party liability insurance, airport surcharge, and a free road map of Ireland. Additional Notes
We can pre-book alternate locations for B&B if desired. Must be advised at time of booking. Otherwise, the package is sold as is and cannot be modified. Additional night in Lahinch can be added to the package.

Day 1 | Arrival
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage, pick up your reserved rental car from the airport. Note: Upgrades to larger vehicles are available. Tonight, we will pre-book a B&B for you near the lovely seaside town of Lahinch in Co. Clare. This location makes it ideal to take in such sights as the majestic Cliffs of Moher.
Day 2 | Galway
After a hearty breakfast at your B&B, bid farewell to your host and make your way north. Your destination today is Galway. Perhaps drive through the enchanting Connemara region today. This area brings contrasts of beauty and wilderness. Overnight at Bed and Breakfast in Galway (may be outside the city center).
Day 3 | Galway - Leitrim
Departing Galway today, you make your way to your castle hotel, Lough Rynn Castle, where you will spend the next two nights. Lough Rynn offers a lakeside setting with breathtaking scenery. A deluxe room awaits you this evening at Lough Rynn.
Day 4 | A Day to Explore
The day is yours to explore. Perhaps a hike up Sliabh and Iarainn Mountain, also known as Iron Mountain, north of Lough Rynn. This mountain is wild and rugged, rising to 585 meters above sea level and is located on the eastern shore of Lough Allen. Walkers will stand in awe at the breathtaking panoramic views over the west and midlands of Ireland and wonder at the amount and variety of flora and fauna encountered, such as foxes, hares, rabbits, badgers, ravens, and peregrine falcons. Return to your castle hotel for overnight.
Day 5 | Leitrim - Dublin
Today, make your way southeast via Longford and Mullingar to County Dublin. Make your way the Hertz drop-off location and return your car rental. From here, make your way to your pre-booked hotel to check in. We have included a Go-City pass for Dublin, which you may want to use in tomorrow on your free day in Dublin. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 6 | Dublin
Today, enjoy the capital city! Take advantage of the Go-City pass that includes a hop-on hop-off bus pass and admission to many of the iconic sights in Dublin. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 7 | Departure
Bid farewell to Ireland today after checking out of your hotel and making your way to the airport for your return flight home, with a promise to return again!
