Day 1 | Frankfurt- Baden-Baden
Welcome to Germany! In the morning travel from Frankfurt to the city of Baden-Baden, the former summer residence of European aristocrats. This city is world famous for its elegant spa resort. Another popular attraction is the casino, which lies at the entrance to the Black Forest. Visit the city and surrounding region. There is plenty to explore! Overnight in Baden-Baden.
Day 2 | Baden-Baden
Today, travel deeper into the Black Forest and get lost in its beauty. Your route takes you through traditional villages such as Baiersbronn, Freudenstadt and Alpirsbach, set among the scenic hills and woods of the Black Forest. In the afternoon, return to Baden-Baden, where you will have free time to enjoy the city’s hot springs or try your luck at the casino, among other things! See where your feet take you, and then settle in for overnight rest at the hotel. (B)
Day 3 | Baden-Baden - Lake Titisee - Freiburg
After breakfast travel towards the southern part of the Black Forest, taking the high route through the Black Forest. Stop at Vogtsbauernhof; this open-air museum gives a great overview of the way of life in this region and is sure to charm you. Then arrive at Titisee, a glacial lake nestled in the heart of the Black Forest. Make a brief stop at Hofgut Sternen to learn more about the fascinating world of cuckoo clocks, and then in the afternoon continue to Freiburg. In Freiburg, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city and overnight in the hotel. (B)
Day 4 | Freiburg - Colmar - Strasbourg
The Rhine River forms the natural border between Germany and France, and is lined with many charming cities and towns. After crossing the river from Freiburg, arrive in Colmar. This city is known for its outstanding wines and architectural heritage that reflect the long history of this region. With a combination of German and French influences, its beauty is sure to captivate you. Continue on to Strasbourg, the capital of Alsace. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this iconic city. Overnight in Strasbourg. (B)
Day 5 | Strasbourg - Heidelberg - Frankfurt
This morning, travel to Heidelberg and visit its famous castle. The lovely city of Heidelberg is Germany’s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country for its rich history and welcoming environment. In the afternoon, leave Heidelberg and arrive in Frankfurt. Transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)

Departures & Transfers
Tour date is the date the tour starts in Germany. Please book your airfare accordingly (to allow for overnight flights). If you arrive prior to the tour or stay longer, transfers will not be included when not on arrival and departure dates and must be purchased separately. Transfer from the airport to tour start not included, can be booked separately. Additional hotel nights in Frankfurt can be booked as needed.
