Day 1 | Arrive in Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore. This evening, meet your fellow travelers at a welcome reception at the hotel. (WR)
Day 2 | Zagreb
This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to see the countryside. (B)
Day 3 | Zagreb - Ljubljana & Bled
After breakfast head towards Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. See the most significant sights of the old city center on a walking tour. Highlights include the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Then, continue to Bled. (B, D)
Day 4 | in Bled
An Alpine Lake surrounded by high peaks, Bled was "discovered" by travelers in the middle of the 19th century. Since then, a small town of hotels, villas, and restaurants has developed around the lake, turning Bled into a lively, all-seasons resort. A sightseeing tour features the charming town and the lakeshore, and visits imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. Perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake, browse through the shops and boutiques, or simply relax and enjoy the enchanting scenery. (B)
Day 5 | Bled - Plitvice
Today's journey continues to Postojna, home to one of Europe's largest cave systems. Explore this fascinating underground world aboard a miniature electric train. Then, travel to the elegant seaside town of Opatija and enjoy a walking tour of this once-fashionable 19th-century resort, known for its Habsburg-era villas. After some free time, continue to Plitvice Lakes. (B,D)
Day 6 | Plitvice - Split
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of the lower lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park, a stunning natural wonder with sixteen terraced lakes connected by cascading waterfalls and surrounded by lush forest. After the tour, travel to Split for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 7 | in Split
This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Split's historic inner city, centered around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore remnants of Roman architecture, as well as Renaissance and Gothic structures, including Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The afternoon is free to stroll through the charming streets or relax at the beach. (B)
Day 8 | Split - Dubrovnik
After breakfast travel to Dubrovnik. Day at leisure for you to spend how you see fit. (B, D)
Day 9 | in Dubrovnik
After the breakfast, walking tour of Old Dubrovnik view the Rector's Palace, the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column, Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery, and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is free or join us for Optional dinner excursion. (B)
Day 10 | depart from Dubrovnik
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. (B)

Airfare can be booked at time of reservation. Airfare is instant purchase and non-refundable. Should you book airfare on your own, please be sure and book the right date. Date of tour is the start date in Zagreb. Most flights are overnight flights, please book accordingly.

Tour date noted is the date the tour begins in Zagreb and ends in Dubrovnik on Day 10. Please plan your air accordingly, as most flights overseas are overnight flights and you would depart the US one day earlier. Transfers are available on arrival and departure on tour start and end date.
