Day 1 | Arrive in Vienna

Arrival in Vienna, where a private transfer will take you to the hotel. Day 2 | Vienna

As the current capital of Austria and former capital of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, Vienna is one of the great cultural centers of Europe and one of the most romantic cities in the world. Vienna is famous for its operas, beautiful Baroque architecture, music, the Prater, the Jugendstil, lovely parks, and rich Sachertorte chocolate cake. Day 3 | Vienna - Salzburg

In the morning, you travel to Salzburg via train. Salzburg owes its world fame to the city’s magical skyline, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the fact that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born here in 1756. The city’s beautiful architecture has earned Salzburg a UNESCO world heritage designation in 1997. Enjoy free time to explore at your leisure. Overnight in Salzburg. (B)

Day 4 | Salzburg

In the morning, enjoy a private guided walking tour of Salzburg (2.5h) with tickets to Hohensalzburg Castle included. The city offers the perfect combination of a picturesque mountain setting and a beautifully preserved old town, illuminated with thousands of Christmas lights. Day 5 | Salzburg - Innsbruck

Travel by train to Innsbruck. In the afternoon, enjoy a private guided walking tour of the city of Innsbruck (2h). Of all major cities in Austria, Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol province, has the most picturesque back drop: nestled in the gorgeous deep valley of the River Inn, between the scenic Karwendel Mountains to the north and Tuxer Mountains to the south. The main street of Innsbruck is the beautiful, lively and elegant Herzog Friedrich Street. Day 6 | Innsbruck

Today, use your Innsbruck Card and choose from the many options you have for activities. You might want to take the cable car up to the Nordketten mountains, or go with the shuttle bus to visit the Swarovski Crystal World. Swarovski Crystal World was opened in 1995 to mark the centennial anniversary of the company’s founding. Multimedia artist André Heller designed a unique and magical place for you to explore. Day 7 | Innsbruck - Vienna

Travel by train back to Vienna. Spend one more day soaking up the beauty of this fine city, and maybe visit the Christmas Market one last time. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Vienna. (B)

Day 8 |  depart Vienna

After breakfast, take your private transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
